Who played with chalk as a kid? Playing with chalk is a favorite pastime of mine. Doodles of hearts and stars decorated my parent’s driveway for most of the 1990s. I would have attracted a lot more attention from the neighbors if I were using chalk to render Picasso’s cubism or create 3D masterpieces, like those who participated at this year’s Pasadena Chalk Festival.
